MDF Cabinet Doors

MDF (medium-density fiberboard) cabinet doors have become the new standard for many homeowners and builders, and for good reason.

MDF cabinet doors are typically less expensive than hardwood doors, but that doesn’t mean they’re ‘cheaper.’

Our MDF cabinet doors are as substantial as a solid wood door. They’re constructed of super-refined MDF, which creates a remarkably stable construction. And there are several key benefits:

  • There’s minimal shrinking compared to hardwood, since each door face is constructed from one piece.
  • MDF has a smoother surface (no grain), which is especially important for painted cabinets.
  • MDF is easy to shape, so you can order MDF cabinet doors in virtually any style.

Our MDF cabinet doors come pre-sanded and can be primed on all sides with a high-build primer. They require only light sanding before painting to remove any oils and marks from handling.

Want to create a uniform, high-quality look for a room such as a kitchen or bathroom? Why not pair MDF cabinet doors with one of our MDF Interior Doors in the same style.
